Why You’re Never "Out of Shape"—The Hidden Cost of Modern Life 🚶‍♂️💺

We’ve all said it before: “I’m so out of shape.” But according to movement expert Katy Bowman, that’s not actually true. Your body is always in shape—it just reflects how you move (or don’t move) every day.

If you sit most of the time, your body adapts to sitting—tight hips, weak glutes, stiff back. If you only move in repetitive ways, like walking on flat sidewalks or doing the same yoga poses the same way, some areas get stronger while others weaken from neglect.
